Beginning at the age of thirty the body begins the aging process, where connective tissue tightens from years of building and strengthening. At this point the body begins to feel tension in joints which in turn effect how we move, which lends itself to possible injury. Yin yoga addresses this tension with longer hold times for more supple response. Yin brings healing to the body and mind.

About this Course
This course was designed to expand the yoga practitioners’ practice to accommodate a larger population. Current statistic reveal rise in over fifty population seeking benefits of yoga. The stability ball provides a base of support for beginner, post injury, pregnancy, or difficulty with a vinyasa flow with changes where vertical to horizontal are not well tolerated. The class structure is a flowing sequence, not diminish by the ball as there are challenges. The manual includes a section for more advanced students/instructors challenge.
THE PRACTICE with the ball flows from seated postures to standing, kneeling, seated on mat and supine. While the ball assist with the asana, it also deepens the sensation of the stretch, and with progressions provides challenge.
