Deepen your knowledge of Yoga with the Eight limbs of yoga, understand benefits of each yoga asana (postures). Take that deeper dive into the spirtual practice.

Spring Semester: January 21, 2023 - August (8 mo. program)
In this program you will begin your journey to deepen your yoga practice through understanding the history, philosophy, science, ancient texts and know yourself.
The course commitment will be a 9 month program, 1 weekend per month - 16 -20 hours in person. There will be Zoom hours for lecture learning, as well as outside assignments.
Deposit required prior to begining the program $300.00. You will receive a manual written by Phyllis and approved through YA. For 9 mo. program $200.00/mo tuition due the weekend of training (for 8 mo. program divided out for 8 mo) Tuition totals $2100.00. If paid in full up front 10% off = 1890.00.

History of Yoga - where is began, how it began, people instrumental in its development and what each brought to the practice.
Philosophy of yoga - yoga sutras and other yoga texts of reference.
Ayurveda basics and how it relates to your yoga practice
Breath work- Pranayama
RYS 300 Core Curriculum - YA
This curriculum will take a deeper dive into some areas discussed. It will be a time where you decide a specific direction for Your Yoga teaching.
Books required will be: The living Gita
Review - Brief review of some of the 200 hour with a deeper dive.
